Suzana Novčić (1969) graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade with a bachelor’s degree in art history (1995). She started working at the National Museum in Kraljevo (1997), where she earned the titles Curator (1998), Senior Curator (2008) and Museum Advisor (2016). She firstly worked at the position of curator educator (1998–2009), and since 2009 she has been the curator of the Art Collection, in charge of the part of the Art Collection created until 1960. She is the author of a large number of art exhibitions, especially of contemporary artists, which is the focus of her interest, and the organiser of a series of exhibitions in this field. She is also a co-author of several large exhibition projects turned towards mediaeval heritage and other topics. In her pedagogic work, she has dealt with the creation and realisation of workshops, lectures on art for young people and colonies. On different occasions, she has also held lectures for adults and participated in promotions and a number of scientific conferences. She has participated in several projects and dealt with the recording of video-interviews with eminent artists, which have become part of the video production of the National Museum Kraljevo. She has also dealt with editorial work. She performed the function of deputy director (2013–2017). She is a member of professional associations.
