Small decoration, an encopy of a wooden cross (1.6 cm x 2.6 cm) was found during the research of the Church of the Holy Salvation which was conducted by the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Kraljevo from 1988 to 1989, in the altar space. The nacre icon is rectangular in shape, with the upper edge modeled as the Latin letter S. The face of the saint is engraved on the face framed by vertical lines, while the line above the saint’s head is wavy and follows the upper edge. During the 17th and 18th centuries, nacre began to be used more intensively in applied art, and among other things in the making of crosses.
