A pair of silver earrings was found during the excavation of a medieval cemetery at the site of the Turkish Church in the village of Lazac near Kraljevo, which was carried out by the National Museum of Kraljevo in 1985. The earrings are completely preserved and on the massive link there are three hollow cast strawberries richly decorated with filigree wire. During the Middle Ages, women did not wear this type of earrings directly, on pierced ears, but with the help of a decorative ribbon for which they hung earrings. The ribbon was placed over the head and the earrings were lowered to ear height, while a hat or veil was worn over the ribbon.
