Medal of Bravery 1877–1878 is one of the established princely medals of Milan Obrenović and has a significant place among the medals in the Historical Collection. The medal is minted in silver (R 26 mm). On the obverse in the middle is the inscription “МИЛАН М. ОБРЕНОВИЋ IV књаз српски”; on the reverse, in a wreath of laurel and oak twigs, there is an inscription “ЗА ХРАБРОСТ 1877–1878”, below which is the coat of arms of Serbia.
