At the exhibition “Milena Pavlović Barilli – Life and Dreams” you can see the original black and white photograph of the artist made by Carl Van Vechten (1880-1964), American writer, photographer, collector and theater critic. His photographs are almost exclusively black and white portraits of famous people, for which he never agreed to receive a fee and which he rarely exhibited during his life. His talent for detail, as well as the choice of the person he painted, made his photographs an important testimony to twentieth-century artists. Among them were Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, Arthur Rubenstein, but also Milena Pavlović Barilli.

It is about the now anthological portrait of Milena with lace, a favorite detail in her rich artistic props, which on this occasion can also be seen in the Gallery of the National Museum Kraljevo.
