An exceptional find of a luxury jug decorated with a graffiti technique was found during an eight-year research of the monastery complex, which was conducted by the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Serbia in the 1980s. The large jug with one handle is decorated with incised ornaments of intertwined circles and has a gold thread imprinted on the transition from the shoulder to the neck. The ornaments are accentuated with brown, olive green and ocher. Perhaps such a luxurious vessel was intended to be brought to the table, when its founder, Queen Helen, her family or the archbishop would stay in the Monastery. The possibility that Queen Helen used it personally is not ruled out.
