Gravity I by Saša Pančić, 2016.

With the latest series of objects, Sasa Pančić continues to artistically examine the unity of time and space within the field of “image”. By transforming the abstract content of a two-dimensional “image” into a three-dimensional object, by an inverse procedure, he manages to elevate flat artistic elements into the physical world and turn them into poetic objects. Saša Pančić was born in 1965 in Mostar. He graduated in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he also completed postgraduate studies, Department of Drawing. In the period between 2007 and 2010, he served as President of Association of Fine Artists of Serbia.
