Belt, 19th century, Belgrade

The metal belt is composed of 12 rectangular segments in the center of which is an oval plate with a frame of pseudogranules. These tiles are decorated with the technique of engraving, with several motifs that are repeated twice: vegetable motifs, coat of arms, tughra, floral motif, palace with two towers, city on the coast, palace with one tower. The belt is fastened with a buckle-shaped buckle, additionally decorated with pendants, one of which has been preserved.
