Ring, 19th century, Kraljevo

The head of the ring is made of a round frame (2.5 cm in diameter), in which the processed agate is placed. Around the frame is a wreath of triple braided filigree wire, while the ring link is simple. The agate ring belongs to the group of large festive bridal rings, such as the table ring, which in the second half of the 18th century, instead of filigree and granulation, received large inserts of agate. The tradition of its production continued during the 19th century.
