Rifle “Jefferdar”, 19th century

The “Jefferdar” rifle is one of the extraordinary examples of decorated, parade weapons. Special attention is paid to the decoration of the rifle butt, which is covered with nacre tiles in the form of geometric and floral motifs and chained with an embossed silver ribbon, also with floral motifs. The upper part of the pipe is decorated with a silver, daubed ornament and 4 silver decorated buckles. It is connected to the planter by a brass, ornamented frame into which a rod for cleaning and loading gunpowder is inserted. The sole is on the outside, and the trigger mechanism is missing.
