Afternoon Tea

Within the exhibition of the Natural History Museum in Belgrade “Green and Black: Story of Tea”, we are organizing interactive program for the audience “Afternoon Tea”.

During this program, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy stories from the exhibition with a cup of tea and find out how this mysterious plant conquered Europe and then the whole world. At the tea party, we will talk about the many traditions related to the preparation and serving of this beverage throughout history, as well as the small personal rituals of drinking tea that we practice ourselves.

If you want to find out what are the three basic rules for preparing Russian tea, what are the differences between Chinese and Japanese tea ceremonies, what did civic tea parties in Serbia look like at the beginning of the 20th century, but also to share your experience and knowledge with us, be our guests.
