Sanja Latinović – I Believe in Fairy Tales

Sanja Latinović graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade at the Department of Sculpture in 2009, while she completed her Master’s studies at the Department of Performing Arts at HKB Bern, Switzerland in 2016. Although a sculptor by vocation, she focuses on performance, video and photo documentation, choosing them as fields of artistic expression through which he examines the medium of sculpture itself, exploring its transformative potentials in the relations: space – form – idea. In the period between 2009 and 2014, she was a member of the group “Third Belgrade”, with which she realized a number of artistic actions: “Warm Place”, “Breakfast on the Grass”, “Big Dream”, “We love the art of others”, etc. … She participated in the art colony “What is missing” in Goč, Kraljevo, organized by the National Museum Kraljevo and the Cultural Center “Ribnica” in Kraljevo. She is the author of a number of solo exhibitions and performances, as well as a participant in a number of group exhibitions in the country and abroad. The curator of the exhibition is Ljubiša Simović, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo.
