The exhibition “Smak 50” presents a retrospective display of archival materials of the rock group “Smak” by the author Ksenija Đerković, archivist of the Historical Archives of Šumadija in Kragujevac and daughter of Slobodan Stojanović Kepa, the drummer of this iconic band. The group “Smak” was founded in 1971 with Kepa by the famous guitarist Radomir Mihajlović Točak and bassist Zoran Milanović. The exhibition includes posters, newspaper articles from old Yugoslav newspapers such as “Jukebox”, “Reporter” and “TV Revija”, musical props, equipment, wardrobe that the band members used on stage. The emphasis is on the history and importance of the group “Smak” from Kragujevac, as a kind of rock phenomenon from the heart of Šumadija and one of the biggest rock groups of the former Yugoslavia.
