The novel “Durbin of Count Sava Vladislavić” is a novelized biography that talks about various diplomatic, war, trade and love exploits of Count Sava Vladislavić of Herzegovinian origin, who was the right hand of the great Russian Tsar Peter the Great. He is credited with the establishment of the Russian intelligence service and the demarcation of the Russian and Chinese empires. He founded the city of Kjahtu and saved the Russian court from destruction. At the same time, he did not forget his people, but played for them one of the crucial historical roles in the uprising in Herzegovina in 1711. The novel also published documents that were not known in Serbia until now.
