Žiča Spiritual Assembly “Transfiguration” is a significant national cultural event that is marking 30 years of existence this year. Hence, the program begins with the ceremonial opening of the exhibition “Transfiguration – 30 years Žiča Spiritual Assembly” whose authors are MA Ana Gvozdenović, editor for essays and criticism of the National Library “Stefan Prvovenčani” Kraljevo and Mirjana Savić, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo. The exhibition will be opened by Dragan Hamović, PhD. In addition to this, the exhibition “Our Fellow Citizen Queen Draga – Between Glory and Anathema” of the Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo Region from Gornji Milanovac, whose authors are senior curators Ana Ranković and Aleksandar Marušić will be opened by Ljubodrag P. Ristić, PhD. This year, the National Museum Kraljevo is organizing an international scientific conference entitled “Publications in the Development of Society and State I: Karanovac – Kraljevo in Serbian Newspapers 1835-1918”, which will last from August 17th to August 18th. The crown of the event is the awarding of the “Žiča Chrysobull” to the poet laureate on August 19th in the dining room of the Žiča Monastery. The winner of “Žiča Chrysobull” for 2021 is the poet Nikola Vujčić.
