The figure of King Alexander Karađorđević is embroidered on the tapestry, in a ceremonial uniform with a ribbon, in a wreath of bay leaves with berries. In the middle of the lower edge is the coat of arms of the Yugoslav royal house Karađorđević, on which, unlike the state coat of arms, Slovenia was represented by the coat of arms of the Carniolan duchy (blue eagle on a silver field), while the crown is medieval and around the shield is a chain of Prince Lazar. However, the whole field is framed by a Serbian tricolor. The tapestry is paired with a tapestry with the image of Queen Marija Karađorđević, the wife of King Alexander. It is most probable that the tapestries were made in the period after their wedding, on June 8, 1922, in the Cathedral Church in Belgrade.
