Libade is a typical and representative part of the Serbian, women’s civic costume from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. It is a short outer garment, cut at the waist, which is open at the front and whose front parts touch. The sleeves are long and widened in the lower part. Our copy is made of white satin. Its seams and slits on the sleeves and back are decorated with silver-thread embroidery, with a stylized vine motif. Next to the libade is a scarf, triangular in shape, made of drape silk, with fringes of silk thread, up to 25 cm long.
