Decorative goblet, 1820-1830, France

Small decorative goblet, 11 cm high, made of blue Opal glass in the casting technique. The conical goblet is on a circular foot, has a beveled rim, a pronounced spout and a handle. The surface of the vessel is richly decorated in relief, so that it is divided into two parts by a strip with a row of granules. In the upper part, there are stylized floral motifs in which the decoration of the handle fits, and in the lower part, there are stylized geometric motifs.
