Libade, beginning of the 20th century, Kraljevo

The libade is made of burgundy velvet and is decorated with rich embroidery around the edges of the front and back, around the sleeves and around the oblique slits on the back. The embroidery, about 5.3 cm wide, is made of silver threads twisted with silk thread, and the motif is a rich floral vine. The sleeves are long, very wide at the bottom. The back and upper part of the sleeves are lined with a drape of cotton fabric, and the front and lower part of the sleeves with red rep. A small pocket is sewn on the front inner left part.
