The great jubilee of the Žiče Spiritual Assembly was the reason for organizing the exhibition “Transfigurations – 30 years of the Žiča Spiritual Assembly”, whose authors are MA Ana Gvozdenović, editor for essays and criticism of the publishing activities of the National Library “Stefan Prvovenčani” Kraljevo and Mirjana Savić, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo.
Her story, even without creative intervention, resembles a script that every director would want. From there, the Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo Region in Gornji Milanovac prepared an exhibition about its famous fellow citizen, Queen Draga Obrenović.
“Chamber Music of Composers-Academicians, Journey through Serbia” is a series of ten concerts held in several cities in Serbia. The program includes representative works of art music of the 20th and 21st century, respected composers and members of SASA: Stanojlo Rajčić, Vlastimir Peričić, Vlastimir Trajković, Vasilije Mokranjac, Ljubica Marić, Dejan Despić, Isidora Žebeljan, Svetislav Božić and Ivan Jevtić. Intended for a wider range of instruments (piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe).
Historians Bojana Miljković Katić, PhD, Radomir J. Popović, PhD and Ljubodrag P. Ristić, PhD will speak at the promotion of the book prepared by Slavoljub Maržik.
The exhibition refers to the role of partisan units in the fights against the German occupier, as well as the establishment of their relations with the Red Army, and the joint struggle for the liberation of Serbian territory. On the other hand, the exhibition shows the occupation of the country, the fate of refugees and prisoners of war in German camps, as well as the suffering of the civilian population, which includes mass retaliation.
The artist Stefana Savić is a guest at the National Museum in Kraljevo and within the project “The House of Unforgettability” invites fellow citizens to share their memories of marking October 14th, the day of commemoration for the victims of mass shootings in Kraljevo, conducted by the Wehrmacht in 1941.
Historians Dejan Ristić, PhD, acting director of the Genocide Victims' Museum, Darko Gučanin, director of the National Museum Kraljevo, Mirjana Savić, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo, will speak at the promotion of book as well as the author herself Silvija Krejaković, museum advisor of Belgrade City Museum, who worked at the National Museum Kraljevo for over two decades.
Prof. Darko Tanasković and Branko Vukomanović will speak at the promotion of the book as well as the author Velimir I. Ivanović.
At the promotion of the scientific-professional journal of the National Museum Kraljevo and the Historical Archives Kraljevo, the articles will be presented by Marka Tomić, PhD, Asst. Prof. Nikola Krstović, and Miloš Timotijević, PhD.
The exhibition of the regional art project “Recognition 5” includes institutions from six cities, from three countries in the region: Kruševac, Kraljevo, Čačak, Niš (Serbia), Podgorica (Montenegro) and Vidin (Bulgaria). The expert team consists of: Biljana Grković, as the project coordinator, Milica Todorović, Julka Marinković, Ljubiša Simović, Ljiljana Karadžić, Svilen Stefanov, as curators who decided on twelve artists.
Three artists Mina Ristić Jonić (piano), Isidora Marjanović (violin), Natalija Tipsarević (cello) will hold a concert “Evening of Mozart's Music”.
The exhibition by Violeta Tomić, senior curator of the Gallery of Milena Pavlović Barilli in Požarevac, is a chronological cross-section of Milena's painting, from 1926 to 1944. The audience will be able to see the entire opus and her short and dynamic life, which is marked by schooling, travel, and constant creation in European capitals: from her native Požarevac and Belgrade to Munich, Paris, Rome, and finally, New York.
