During the reign of King Milutin, Serbian ruler images were already fully aligned with the Byzantine ceremonial image. The portrait ensembles from this period are based on the imperial idea and laid the foundation for Serbian ruler portraits, especially those from the time of the empire.

The exhibition “Saint Sava: 850 Years with Us” consists of 80 awarded and commended children’s works submitted to the competition announced by the sisterhood of the Žiča Monastery on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the birth of Saint Sava, the first Serbian archbishop.
The most significant and oldest exhibition of children's art in our city is being held for the 51st time in a row, as a result of a successfully implemented competition. The aim of organizing the Children's May Art Salon is to highlight the importance of art education, to value the work of individual art teachers and to recognize the creative potential of students by presenting the most successful works created in school classes. This year the theme was free.
