The central part of the icon shows a naked Lazarus with his right hand outstretched towards Christ. His sisters Martha and Mary, who are lying under the covers, are facing Lazarus. Christ with the apostles behind, points to Lazarus. Behind the stage is a hill with a house over whose roof the people are watching the resurrection scene. In the lower part of the icon are representations of Saint Simeon, with a red cap, in a blue dress and with a cloak with patterns, while on his chest is a representation of Christ the child. Saint Tryphon is young, in a striped dress and a red cloak, while in his hand he holds a book with a representation of a bird with a cross on its cover.
