The “Big Bang Show” by Milan Popović will be held in the hall of the Veterans’ Club Building on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. The program is organized as part of the exhibition “Behind Objectivity / Visual Metaphors in Science”.
In a kind of science show, Milan Popović will perform attractive physical and chemical experiments. In addition to great entertainment, it also has an educational character, so visitors will have the opportunity to learn something new and better understand the world around us. With a real pyrotechnic spectacle, Milan will tell you some of the craziest scientific stories! What is the connection between Munch’s “Scream” and the biggest explosion in human memory? What is it about water that pilots fear and stuntmen rely on? How incidents led to the discovery of some of the most significant explosives in history, and did you know that NASA has long relied on brooms to keep its missions safe? Strap in, let’s take off and fly through lots of exploding discoveries at the speed of sound!
Milan Popović has been successfully popularizing science for more than 15 years and is the main coordinator of the Science Festival in Belgrade, the largest event in this field in the region. His Show programs have been performed more than 300 times, including performances in South Korea, China, Bulgaria and Italy.
