Facebook, Instagram, likes, search and scrolling are the inspiration for new works by Kraljevo artist Jovana Banjanac called “Post”. From this internet fund, the artist begins research that leads to the interpretation of ecosystems, dealing with the environment, nature and future survival.
Žiča Spiritual Assembly “Transfiguration” is a significant national cultural event that this year marks 30 years of existence. Hence, the program begins with the ceremonial opening of the exhibition “Transfiguration – 30 Years of the Žiča Spiritual Assembly”, as well as the exhibition “Our Fellow Citizen Queen Draga – Between Glory and Anathema” of the Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo Region from Gornji Milanovac.
Her story, even without creative intervention, resembles a script that every director would want. From there, the Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo Region in Gornji Milanovac prepared an exhibition about its famous fellow citizen, Queen Draga Obrenović.
The great jubilee of the Žiče Spiritual Assembly was the reason for organizing the exhibition “Transfigurations – 30 years of the Žiča Spiritual Assembly”, whose authors are MA Ana Gvozdenović, editor for essays and criticism of the publishing activities of the National Library “Stefan Prvovenčani” Kraljevo and Mirjana Savić, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo.
Sanja Martinović Dugulu, a native of Vrnjačka Banja, after graduating from the Music School “Stevan Mokranjac” in Kraljevo, completed her undergraduate and master's studies at the piano department at the Music Academy of the University of East Sarajevo. She is active as a performer, accompanist and pedagogue and the winner of numerous awards in these activities. She is living and working in Istanbul.
