The work “Throwing Stones from Shoulder” by Jaroslav Kratina, which is kept by the National Museum Kraljevo, belongs to the mature painting period of this artist.

On this day, July 12th, 2023, the Serbian Orthodox Church celebrates the Holy Venerable Mother Angelina, the wife of the Serbian despot Stefan Branković, the founder of the Krušedol Monastery, whose cult has been strongly present, primarily in Srem, since the 16th century. One of the few churches dedicated to this saint, which was built south of the Sava, River is located in the village of Zakuta near Kraljevo, in the Gruža region. The Church of Saint Angelina in Zakuta, built in 1858, is the endowment of Toma Vučić Perišić, one of the most important political and public figures of the 19th century in Serbia.

On this day, July 21st, 2023, the Serbian Orthodox Church celebrates the Holy Great Martyr Procopius, who died during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, in the 4th century. Miners in Serbia in the Middle Ages considered him their protector. Hence, the custom has been preserved on Kopaonik to the present day, that the inhabitants of the surrounding villages near the old mines, gather at the cross of St. Procopius at the Church on the Heavenly Chairs on this day. The exhibition of drawings by the young Kraljevo artist Željko Radović was opened in the Gallery of the National Museum Kraljevo, on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, starting at 7 p.m. At the opening of the exhibition, the following addressed the audience: Suzana Novčić, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo, Slobodan Jelić, retired teacher of the Art School in Kraljevo, as well as the artist Željko Radović himself. The program was completed by the musical performance of the young composer Anđela Kosić.
