The regular December Assembly of the National Committee of ICOM of Serbia, which was also an election for several positions in the bodies and committees of the National Committee, was held on December 14th, 2023 in the National Museum of Serbia. On that occasion, Tatjana Mihailović, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljvo, was elected as the president of the National Committee of ICOM Serbia.

The exhibition was opened in the Gallery of the National Museum Kraljevo on Friday, December 15th, 2023, starting at 6 p.m. In addition to Darko Gučanin, director of the National Museum Kraljevo, Vladan Virijević, PhD, professor of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Pristina, with temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica, Đorđe Mojović, PhD, grandson of Milan Zloković, designer of the hotel “Žiča”, founder and direcotr of the Foundation of this of the famous architect and Suzana Novčić, museum advisor of the National Museum Kraljevo and author of the exhibition, participated in the opening of the exhibition.

On this day, December 15th, 1893, Vasa Pomorišac was born, painter, professor, critic, illustrator and the first Serbian trained stained glass artist. This artist-craftsman was attached to the Byzantine and Serbian past, whose spiritual reflections he drowned in his works, guided by the idea of art as a phenomenon inseparable from society and tradition.

On this day, November 15th, 1983, Mihailo Petrov, a Serbian graphic artist, painter, illustrator, poet and critic, died. The artist, who left behind a rich painting oeuvre, but also with many years of commitment earned graphics a place of equal artistic discipline as the first professor in this field.

The program was realized in the Legacy of Olivera Radojković Čolović – the Čolović family house, on Mitrovdan, Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, the day of family glory of the donor. Through the program, the memory of Olivera and her family is preserved and nurtured, through the idea of a legacy that lives on. The program “On Slava at Olivera’s House” was conceived as a reconstruction of the civic glory in the house of Čolović, which would gather her acquaintances and friends, which was preceded by the consecration of cakes and grain.
