    Within the exhibition of the Natural History Museum in Belgrade “Green and Black: Story of Tea”, we are organizing an interactive program for the audience, where visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the stories from the exhibition with a cup of tea and find out how this mysterious plant conquered Europe, and then the whole the world.

  • Emigration of Jews from Yugoslavia to Israel (1948-1952)

    The book was created as a doctoral thesis of Milan Radovanović, PhD, which was defended at the History Department of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade. It refers to the period after the Second World War, when Jews in Yugoslavia were starting a new life, faced with dilemmas: to stay and participate in the reconstruction of the country under a new ideological system, or to decide to emigrate to Israel.

    The exhibition presents a retrospective display of archival materials of the rock group “Smak”, which was founded in 1971 by drummer Slobodan Stojanović Kepa, famous guitarist Radomir Mihajlović Točak and bassist Zoran Milanović. The emphasis is on the history and importance of the group “Smak” from Kragujevac, as a kind of rock phenomenon from the heart of Šumadija and one of the biggest rock groups of the former Yugoslavia.

    The most significant and oldest exhibition of children's art in our city is being held for the 48th time in a row, as a result of a successfully implemented competition. The goal of organizing the Children's May Art Salon is to highlight the importance of art education, value the work of individual art pedagogues, and recognize the creative potential of students through the public presentation of the most successful works created in school classes. The theme of this year's 48th May Children's Art Salon is “Composition”.

  • Behind Objectivity – Visual Metaphors in Science

    At the illustration exhibition of the Center for promotion of Science in Belgrade, visitors can see the works of 28 illustrators, designers and artists published in the popular science magazine “Elements”. Through nine thematic units, the audience can learn about numerous unexpected connections between science, our everyday life, worldview and society as a whole.

  • Drummer and Musicians from the Machine

    National Museum Kraljevo Trg Svetog Save 2, Kraljevo, Србија

    It is about a multi-hour, exciting musical performance by drummer Saša Ranković, who through the process of creating a musical works combine the concept of science and music. The rhythms, accents and breaks performed by the drummer will be accompanied by the reactions of the virtual bass player, pianist and saxophonist, and the visitors will have the opportunity to engage directly in the interaction by hitting the drum. During the evening, together with the audience, a drummer and “musicians from the machine” will create original and spontaneous musical works on the spot.

    In a kind of science show, Milan Popović will perform attractive physical and chemical experiments, which, in addition to being great fun, also have an educational character. Milan Popović has been successfully popularizing science for more than 15 years and is the main coordinator of the Science Festival in Belgrade, the largest event in this field in the region.

  • Concert for the World Music Day

    World Music Day was introduced for the first time in Paris on June 21st, 1982, called Fête de la Musique, and over time this day was accepted by a large number of countries in the world. It has been celebrated in Serbia for several years, mostly in Belgrade, and the National Museum Kraljevo is joining it this year, with the intention of organizing musical programs every year on World Music Day.

  • World of Numismatics

    National Museum Kraljevo Trg Svetog Save 2, Kraljevo, Србија

    At the exhibition, the audience will have the opportunity to see over 1,200 examples of metal and paper money from the Numismatic Collection of the National Museum Kraljevo, spanning a wide time span, from the 5th century BC until the beginning of the seventies of the last century. We are talking about money starting from the ancient period, through the money of medieval Serbia and its neighbours, to European money from the 14th to the 18th century. A special part is the money of our countries of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as money from other continents of the same chronology.

  • Prince Lazar – Man Whose Name Is Remembered Through the Centuries

    The film, based on the script by Stefan Andrejić, shows the life of Prince Lazar, from his birth in Prilepce until his death in Kosovo, and the transfer of his relics to the Ravanica monastery. Eminent experts in the fields of social history, military history, church history and archaeology speak in the film. The author and director of the film is Marko Marinković.

  • The Night of Alternative Rock

    National Museum Kraljevo Trg Svetog Save 2, Kraljevo, Србија

    During the Night of Alternative Rock performed by the Guitar School “Rock Planet”, the audience will, among other things, have the opportunity to hear the songs of the group “Nirvana”, “Smak”, Maneskin and other famous artists. The Guitar School “Rock Planet” officially exists since 2012, it is attended by young people of different generations, from primary school students to students, and for some of them rock music has become a life calling.
